Corydalis lutea

Although it can self seed aggressively, I still love this little fern-leafed plant, which blooms from April till frost and can grow cracks in old brick walls or in rock gardens in dappled shade. This one shares a stone wall with Ceratostigma plumbaginoides and Phlox subulata at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.

  1. It's so pretty and delicate. Wish I had a spot for it - aggressive or not.
