Pacific Street window boxes
Someone near the top of Pacific Street where it ends at Henry, keeps these wide flower boxes filled. There are ferns and white and pink Dicentra eximia, and hostas and now some annuals tucked into the empty spaces. Mainly it looks after itself, because of the perennials, which have been well chosen. Someone in the building behind them knows and loves plants.

Looks like that gardener misses the northwest.
ReplyDeleteI kill bleeding heart right and left. I think it doesn't like our hot and humid summers... or perhaps it needs more water in the winter. Don't know, but at best it's an annual here - and with a short season!
