Terrace jungle

In the rain...

The Thai basil (corner) is tall and wide and I have let it make flowers, at last.

Not shown, the roses, sprayed with Neem against the late season black spot that always afflicts them. By November the Iceberg is usually bright yellow with dalmation-black spots. Not this time.

And the Etoile Violette's second flush is coming on strong. Very pretty, in a purple, whiskery way...

  1. I burned my ivy with Neem, so now I use All-Season Oil by Bonide to control blackspot on my roses.

  2. Neem is strong stuff, yes, but I just mix a smidgen in with the water.
