Open Gardens pictures
Imagine my happy surprise when I clicked on one of the blogs I read, Walk the Cape, and found...my mom's garden! And photographed beautifully by Helen.
Helen took the tour, and took pictures, Praise the Lawd. How gorgeous.

I can see where you get your love for all things growing from, I guess the apple does not fall far from the tree...Beautiful garden :-)
ReplyDeleteThis planter is spectacular Can't wait to see the rest of her garden. Good genes you have!
ReplyDeleteYou were surprised ? I was completely taken aback. Beautiful pictures. And what a good way to welcome back "connectivity". I have been out of touch since Saturday - it's Tuesday now.
ReplyDeleteNow I'm even more crushed I couldn't be there! Absolutely beautiful - I can see where you get your talent from. Also wanted to go to the one in Bruce Rd - have known the family for years, but had friends over and couldn't make the trip.
ReplyDeleteOh, Marie! Helen's photos of the gardens are just wonderful. Your mother's garden looks spectacular!
ReplyDeleteThank you Marie. My absolute pleasure to give the readers of your blog a peek into these lovely gardens; I'm delighted you like the pics. What I failed to mention is the delicious scent in all these gardens... the roses made me swoon! And if any of you want to see more open gardens: I did a tour of gardens in Elgin the following day and have more pics to share (hopefully up on blog towards end of the week). Open gardens are such fun!
