Mulberries in the 'hood

Thanks to Ellen, I am now never without a receptacle of some kind (read 'bag') in which to gather berries. Or leaves. In this case, since I have no silkworms, I picked the berries.

Oh, taste of childhood. What price, memory on the tongue?

Lady Macbeth would have had a tizzy

  1. Just looking at this photograph and I am a child again stuffing my face with those yummy blackberries...They look so sweet. Thank you for the memories

  2. It isn't the same berry or month, but all this berry eating is reminiscent of Mary Oliver's "August".
