Melapeño


Well, that is what we are calling it, unless you can think of something better.

Roughly, 5 parts chilled melon and jalapeño soup, 2 parts white rum, 2 parts lemon juice, a lot of ice, blend. Serve in tall glass, over more ice.

A very cold drink for a very warm day.

Brace yourself, Sheilas, it's going to be 98 in New York today.
