Cherry blossom in December

In full bloom at Borough Hall in Brooklyn. It was dark, the picture is bad, but how lovely it was. Probably Prunus subhirtella 'Autumnalis'.

    Actually this lifeform is designed to be vexed. It was born confused. Like so many of us. It will always bloom now :-)

    I must fetch my earrings.
