Spring on Dean Street. A honey trap for flower bloggers who make fun of forsythia, perhaps. I half expected nets to drop down out of the plane trees to scoop me up as I clicked. The forsythia's revenge...
Yellow and blue are always a lovely combination but especially at this time of year when we're all craving some colour after the dreariness of Winter.
We've had some glorious days recently (unheard of in this part of England!) so our gardens have well and truly woken up. Please, please please don't give us any hard frosts!
All through the icy days of January, I had fantasies about what might replace the fag ends and burger wrappers in all those sidewalk troughs...now I know!
What a beautifully planned bed! It doesn't look a bit barf-like! and the greenery will be a nice backdrop to whatever the gardener does for the rest of the season. Thanks for sharing.
That's beautiful! It doesn't even look real!
ReplyDeleteps - I'm really enjoying your blog!
