Happy Easter.
We will hunt marzipan eggs on the terrace with the cat and eat slow-cooked lamb shoulder with anchovies, sherry vinegar, rosemary and garlic (it's better than it sounds - in fact, divine) for dinner. And I will think about early autumn in Cape Town, and miss that, and those, and wonder and dream, and then get back to work. Which is just a way of dreaming, if you want it to be.
Happy Easter dreamer.

Just love those kitty whisker pansies.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter Marie - and enjoy your delish sounding dinner
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to you too Marie
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to you Marie. Your violas are very pretty and your lamb sounds lambtastic.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter, Marie! Enjoy your beautiful day and hope the Cad finds lots of marzipan huevos.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter.
ReplyDeleteLove that photo by the way.
Happy Easter. Sounds deelish. I was going to do a boneless half leg of lamb but we have been sick with a flu-like virus and it seemed too rich. So chicken soup instead, and the lamb can wait a couple of days. Had a good talk to my sister in Cape Town. It must be lovely there now, and hopefully devoid of the allergy producing pollen that we have this spring.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter Marie, thank you for a beautiful post

Awesome, commendable, and tasty-looking. And you know where you can find more of it.
ReplyDeleteFunny thing, I was being interviewed today by some Columbia J-school students profiling BK bloggers, and they said their co-students were interviewing a mom blogger and a rooftop garden blogger. "Uh, 66 Square Feet," I asked, and they said they sounded like it. Small neighborhood.
Can't imagine how the lamb could taste better than it sounds, 'cause it sounds smokin' good. Hope you had a great day.
