One woman, 12 seasons, and an appetite for plants
And colorful. Is that eggplant? Is there a yogurt sauce, are those pomegranate seeds?I'm going over her blog to get the details.miss you. xo Jane
:-) It is indeed eggplant. Yotam Ottolenghi's recipe. here's the recipe:http://www.nibblenourishrun.com/2010/10/eggplant-with-yogurt-buttermilk-sauce/(I didn't use buttermilk, just Greek yoghurt.)happy cooking!
I would never have thought of combining pomegranate and eggplant, and I LOVE both!
Looks and sounds great! Thanks for sharing
The roast eggplant, yogurt sauce and pomegranate seeds (?) look beautiful. I love recipes that have contrasting and unexpected flavors.
Looks it too....Jeweled with pomegranite.
Jaloers.
I thought I recognised that - of course, it's Ottolenghi! The man is my total hero...
Now ask her about the yogurt soup ...:-)
