But we are going far, far, away. To late autumn and early winter.

Our kitty is doing very well, frisky and eating and ready to party.

Your garden looks absolutely beautiful! Have an amazing trip! I am already excited for your reports on beautiful things in South Africa.
ReplyDeleteYour garden appears as a raft. Something tells me SA's winters are not like ours :)
ReplyDeleteSo glad that you are leaving a much improved Estorbo, I imagine you'll have more fun without the worry of his health.
ReplyDeleteSafe travels, Marie, and have a wonderful visit to your beloved homeland.
God speed.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear Estorbo is better.
ReplyDeleteWish I were going to South Africa. Visiting through your photos and words is the next best thing. Please take some photos of your mom's exquisite garden for us.
Enjoy your trip!

ReplyDeleteBon voyage!
ReplyDeletedinahmow, you're just excited because you're on your way to the Big Apple. Enjoy your trip!
DeleteToo busy to get excited just yet, but very pleased to be seeing friends. Especially a furry one!
DeleteThe terrace looks wonderful - love the view from across the street. Can't wait to stalk you to SA!
ReplyDeleteSouth Africa is ready for you! The winter weather in Joburg is very different to Cape Town, but as you are off to Kruger you should get to see the beautiful crisp blue of the Higveld sky and sun pretty much all of the time. We may not do properly insulated houses, but as long as you can find a sunny spot...
ReplyDeleteAlso looking forward to your photos to see "my world" through new eyes
