Early and small flowers from the terrace.
The Iceberg roses have begun to open and should be at peak in about ten days.
At least I hope so, I'd hate to miss the show.
While we are away in a wintery South Africa some of the lilies on the terrace will bloom, and Amy and Dinah may have to dodge their electric pollen, and perhaps tie them up more firmly. Hopefully Jill will come by to take pictures for posterity. Then it will be up to the Frenchman, who must return to New York two weeks before I do. I may turn him into a gardener. There will be black spot to deal with, and fish fertilizer to apply.
His long French nose will twitch

Storby seems calm and collected - not sleeping, but settled down and with food available. Am quite impressed with his condo. Soon, now. Soon.
