Henry Street quince
Small tree, corner of Atlantic and Henry, either planted by mistake, or by someone with memories. Its quinces never ever ripen, they are always picked green. Now it looks beautiful, the blossoms more voluptuous than most, pure.

Beautiful. I'm noticing that quince flowers are even more attractive then apple blossoms.
ReplyDeleteI love the thought of city quince.
I'm thinking of quince poached in red wine...
