I have never been able to resist the sweet faces of violas in the spring, and I always plant a couple on the terrace.

The first, precocious rose opened yesterday. The others are still in bud.

The Corydalis "China Blue" made it through the winter but not very strongly.
And I have three garlic shoots! 17 days after planting, rather than the predicted 10.
A rose? are you serious? You live in New York! They must love you.
