Flatbush Farm Holiday Market

If you're still soiching for the poifect gift or if you need your own personal present, and you are in New York, visit Brooklyn, and the Flatbush Farm today from 12pm - 6pm at 76 St. Mark's Avenue.

Visit their Gift Local blog to see more about who will be selling their wares today, though I happen to know that Ms Bonbon Oiseau will be there with her bonbons for person and for hair. Looks to be some beautiful stuff made by people who know how.

The idea is, obviously, to buy local, to support local craftspeople and designers and to reinvest in your community. This is high-end, small-scale fabrication, time-consuming art. For sale.

And that's not all, folks! You can eat.
