Migration

66 Square Feet from Sam and Sara's roof

I have never left the terrace in spring.

 Abraham Darby

But we are going far, far, away. To late autumn and early winter.

 Chives and sage

I am very excited, but also a bit sad.

Catnip, chives, bulbine, calamintha, sage

Our kitty is doing very well, frisky and eating and ready to party.

Iceberg

So are the roses.

New Dawn

See you in South Africa.

  4. Your garden appears as a raft. Something tells me SA's winters are not like ours :)

  5. So glad that you are leaving a much improved Estorbo, I imagine you'll have more fun without the worry of his health.

Safe travels, Marie, and have a wonderful visit to your beloved homeland.

  10. South Africa is ready for you! The winter weather in Joburg is very different to Cape Town, but as you are off to Kruger you should get to see the beautiful crisp blue of the Higveld sky and sun pretty much all of the time. We may not do properly insulated houses, but as long as you can find a sunny spot...
Also looking forward to your photos to see "my world" through new eyes
