Thanks to Frank, whose suggestion it was, I have started to index my recipes on a blog called 66 Square Feet (the Food). Some friends have kvetched that it is hard to find specific recipes here, and I agree. Not neat enough.
It will be gradual, and I will add some every day.

What I'm not sure about, is whether I should stop writing about food here, and stick to food at (the Food) blog? I think I'll keep to the old way, and catalogue on the other blog, but any feedback you have would be appreciated..
I vote for continuation, with indexed recipes at "food."
ReplyDeleteAnd I have nominated 66square feet's author for an award. The Ginger Darlings have details.
I agree with Dinah; I like the mix of food, fauna, flora and Beence.
ReplyDeleteAnd, Dinah, you and I are on the same wave-length (Ginger Darlings-wise). I've nominated both Marie and Jackie!
I find it very hard to effectively separate food from life, garden and other things. And I like it all connected.
ReplyDeleteContinuation has my vote too.
Continuation!
ReplyDeleteI think food/drink is integral to the 66sf story!
I agree! I too love your mix of things over at 66. It's a life story I enjoy following.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the others ... you blog is the perfect blend!
ReplyDeleteKeli'i
Please don't change the way you post to this blog! I like the mix.
ReplyDeleteIf I may, I think the one blog and catablog is the way to go. Although mine has languished since Feb; you're a prodigious reporter of your meals.
ReplyDeleteAs my grandfather used to say "Good Show!"
Please, continuation!!
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree too - recipes elsewhere; food, flowers, travel, everyday life and the occasional rant to remain where they are!
ReplyDeletei know it's just another "me, too" but me, too, i like it the way it is.
ReplyDeletelove the new set up. planning to try your lamb curry this weekend.
ReplyDeleteI think you should keep the food (and the drinks) in this blog. This blog is an interesting mix of topics and it offers a lovely yet very personal picture of your life and lifestyle. I hope you will do an entry about what your plans for the terrace are this season especially if there are any changes.
ReplyDeleteKeep the food! I love mixing it up! But it will be nice to have all the recipes organized in one place too, the type A in me likes that sort of thing...
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for all your feedback. I think the Organizer in me is at odds with a blog ostensibly about a terrace that is also about food and traveling and New York and...But perhaps the terrace really does hold it all together, because it is where I and we come back to.
ReplyDeleteTo dinahmow and Karen, thank you very much for the nomination! Though I haven't written a book (yet, smallvoice); I'm not sure if I qualify...
Frank - a catablog! Excellent!
Klaus, I hear you. I shall venture up onto the roof today to take a (not very flattering) picture of the terrace at the moment, and plot what will happen next.
