Back lot willow on Columbia Street, and another pear on Bergen. The middle of three in row was cut down last year after one two many branches squashed a car. They of the notoriously weak crotch. Pretty face, weak crotch. One must make allowances.

Nothing worse than a weak crotch...hahaha...I wonder who planted these beauties.
These beautiful trees will be loved during the hot, humid summer with their shade and protection of the buildings from blistering heat.
By "crotch" you mean the joint of the branch with the trunk, don't you?
