Evening terrace

Fennel in the breeze...almost time to eat the flowers. Maybe with feesh?

Look! Saturated red leaves on the Texan perennial, Gaura. They look spraypainted. This is one of my favourite plants, providing airy, dancing flowers all season, from spring till October, entertaining drunk bees all day long and then obligingly pretending to be a tree for fall.

  1. The first picture is really eerie, almost spooky... Love it! :-)

  2. Thank you, Centvingt. That's what I call fuzzy shots now. Aht.

Yes MIT - it really is that colour in this light. No tweaking.
