Frozen rose

There is a leak in the gutter of our building, high above the terrace. It goes drip, drip, drip all night.

This morning, I discovered that it had turned my Iceberg rose - never better named - into a rose-icle.

Don't think it will mind, Marie. It's dry icy cold wind and no moisture that does the most damage.

I agree,the ice may actually insulate the rose from further damage.

Three years ago that Iceberg was ice-encased.

More than likely he will live there sadly and the emptiness which is inside him will expand until it evacuates the entire neighborhood.
