Boulders Beach

Low tide-ish.

It is bluer than it looks.

    1. It is in Cape Town, on the Cape peninsula, False Bay side...

  2. Like so many of you and the Frenchman's photos, this is beautiful. I really hope the South African government realizes how enticing you make the country. You deserve a retainer and a cut of the tourist dollars you are surely generating.

    1. Pretty cold, although in that small bay slightly warmer.

  5. Between this and Vince's photo of the Constantia flowers-wow! I can almost feel the warm beach sand on my bare feet via your photo, when really I am wearing Uggs and it is near freezing outside.

  6. I have very fond memories of this beach, as it is the only one in Simonstown where you could get away from the wind. I spent every available minute there. This was well before the thought of UV factors and the penguins arrived. Talking of the latter - were where they when you took the pic

    1. You're right - the southeaster was tearing through the peninsula and making our teeth shake, but right in the lee of the bay, absolutely still.
