    Can you post some more pictures of your mother's beautiful container garden? The one with the bonsai and amaryllis? Those pictures got added to a folder I keep called "Inspiration" they were so beautiful!

    Love the chard in amongst the flowers. May I ask what the extra-tall yellow-flowering perennial (I assume) is in the first photo? What a garden!

      The tall one is Verbascum.

      This is all my mom's take on an English cottage garden - she has a lot of indigenous plants, too, in other parts of the garden.
