There was light

The lamp. The one we went across the water to buy. Someone asked.

(And yup, that's a Meuschke above the bed.)

  1. And a highly unusual, almost abstract Meuschke at that. Without garlic.

  2. Simply beautiful, where have your hidden all your books!

    1. Thanks, Lisa. They are hidden on an opposite wall, not quite the way I'd like them. The way I'd like them would be floor-to-ceiling books with a ladder.

    1. Ah! Just what I thought when I saw it, almost Dali giraffes :)

  6. Looks great. A privileged location to be sure (and yet another I know of hangs over the bed, who could've anticipated that?)! Incidentally, and I told Vince this when I gave it to him, that if the painting should yellow over time, this is natural due to the heavy dose of linseed oil, it simply needs a day or two in the sunshine (no rain or other droppings, window is best) and it will brighten up as if just painted.
