One woman, 12 seasons, and an appetite for plants
What in the world are they standing in??
Not up on my algae. Some kind of pond scum.
Ewwww....
Duckweed perhaps.
harlem meer is full of duck weed. and the ducks enjoy it, naturally. incidentally, duck weed is purportedly edible. but of course its edibility depends much on the water it grows in.
At first I thought they were standing on the grass until I realized that you couldn't see their feet - eeeww!
I second Terri and third Katie - eeewwwww. Couldn't get me to stand in pond slime just to catch an inedible fish.
