This picture I copied from the Gothamist, where I was directed by Citybirder, and then, reading all the way to the bottom of their comments comes the revelation (alleged) that the guy who took this picture and submitted it to Gothamist in the first place, owns a slingshot (catty in Safrican) and shoots WALNUTS at all birds who sit on his terrace. This from an insider. Citybirder responds meanwhile and says to insider, I need to speak to you offline: this is a federal offense.
The hounds have been let loose.
What next??
Will the walnut shooter be nailed to his own perch?
