Autumn

For another few days autumn in Brooklyn will still be very beautiful. Riding my bicycle home through the park from the farmers market is a pleasure.

And on the days when the sun shines, the sky is that immaculate blue.

  1. We drove up to the Shenandoah Valley last week to see the color. It turned out to be brown. A bit of yellow here, and thank goodness for dogwood trees or there would be no red at all. My red maple went from green to brown overnight. Not a good year for color at all here. Your lovely yellows cheer me up! Thanks.

    1. Sorry you lost the color, Win. Locally it is very pretty.

  2. I think your foliage is better this year than ours was. It's snowing like mad right now on the mountain top!
