Do you remember DC's azalea horror? All the different colored bushes, trimmed into one gigantic multicolored mess?

ReplyDeleteI confess that while I have a knee jerk reaction to the instant mummification of the fall landscape, they look better on those steps than no mums.
ReplyDeleteJane - the DC horror that I remember was the taking of chainsaws and hedge trimmers to those same azaleas, so that they formed rigid waves around houses...
hahaha...... pretty funny. I was just in Brooklyn last weekend for the first time, and I swear I saw that same stoop a hundred times.
