The wind has been gusting for two nights and days. So hard, that it knocked over the fig. Two ripe fruits rolled into the wide gutter that acted as catch net. Vince rescued them and I ate them in the dark. They were very sweet. Then the calamintha blew over onto its side.
Anyway, it really shook me, as things have not blown over before, so we took several pots off the roof. I dreamed of coups, kidnappings, a sinking ship and broken terra cotta in the streets.
Things are rather crowded at the moment. The terrace is buzzing with the slow bees that usually ply their trade on its edges.
Isn't that the chair where Estorbo USED to sit? Oh-oh...
ReplyDeletegood idea to not start a revolution by a terra cotta pot inadvertently and ill-timedly falling to terra firma!
