A present for you

Often taken for granted, pansies are flowers, too. And, come evening, their scent extends and brushes up against you softly, dislodging small pieces of recollection, inspiring modest actions, buoying light plans.

  1. My very first bouquet was pansies, picked unfortunately from a neighbor's garden. I never see a little bunch of them without remember that sweet little boy, who is sadly now dead too soon.

    Thanks for a good memory!

  3. That Mother Nature is one amazing Lady! Thanks for such a sumptuous feast for the eyes—even if we can't smell them.

  4. I've always loved pansies...in all colors, but I am fascinated that I now can find black pansies in the fall. How did I not know they have a scent?

  5. Pansies are one of the hardy flowers that will make it through an Alaska winter. They are a favorite of mine. Just because of that.

  6. Very nicely worded and photographed. I don't know who the present was intended for, but I felt for me. Which was nice.
