Sage seed

The sage continues to bloom and under our thunderstormy skies late this afternoon grew bluer and bluer.

Then I looked closely into each blossom's calyx.

Seeds. Two, like shiny little eyes.

I'm going to have to find a use for them.

  1. Blue plants always look their best in gloom or at dusk, don't they, taking on almost a luminescent quality. I love those beady eyes!
