September tomatoes

My little tomatoes keep making more, even as the plant's lower leaves succumb to blight. I still don't think I've eaten enough buffalo mozzarella with tomatoes and basil yet, though.

  2. If there are too many to cope with I'd be happy to take the surplus. Yes, something is still eating the flowers of mine! grrr!

That's because it's not possible to OD on mozzarella, basil, and tomatoes!

  8. Can't believe you grew them on your terrace - when I grow tomatoes in the ground even, they get blight, rust, mildew, you name it. But ...... you should see my mini rose( grown from seed). It has six buds and is only 6 inches tall. It will grow to 12 inches with time. It is Rosa chinensis var.minima " Angel Rose"
Will send pics when buds open. Very proud of it.

  9. I'm with Fern @ Life - one can never have too much tomato-mozzarella-basil. It is THE summer food in our house.

  11. Put it on a thick slice of Italian bread smeared with a little olive oil and yum!

Sometimes I add grilled eggplant or zucchini ~ whichever I have.

    Your terrace garden is lovely!
