lovely pic, as was the bee in calamintha shot. I used to have a couple of wild milkweed plants coming up in my lawn...they disappeared last year, probably the victim of drought. The blooms on the one in your shot are spectacular!
I love how they smell. So invasive, and yet with a few truly redeeming qualities.
Thanks, Paula - they have pretty flowers yes, and are tall, so I'm thinking of ways to incorporate them into plantings.Hi Ann - bother, I should have sniffed them. Funny how a local can be invasive :-)
