One week ago today, to recap: Stolichnaya vodka, sugar, English gooseberries, red and black currants, and raspberries, bottled, just so.
It's going to be awfully sweet. One sees the viscous threads of red sugar-trail as the jar is turned. I talk to It every day.
I imagine a slurp in a glass of gin and tonic. Or with selzter and lemon and ice. Or with Prosecco.
so would that be "It's" or "its" progress ?
ReplyDeletei do something like this with berries and organic apple cider vinegar.
ReplyDeletedrinking it is good for the skin and hair.
I think the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is dead. Hail the Church of It. Morning and afternoon prayers to It. And a miracle expected in a few weeks.
ReplyDeleteAny way, we'll still get the hilarious hate mail. :-)
Your post leaves me wondering what you say to It, but I suspect that's top secret. It's very photogenic, I must say.
ReplyDeleteIt is The Rapture in a Ball jar.
ReplyDeleteI made It the other night. Does It just sit and look loverly, or should I turn/shake/stir It?
ReplyDeleteKimberley...yay! If the sugar has dissolved, then you just look a it lovingly. If the sugar has not dissolved, you can tip the jar gently upside down and leave it like that till the sugar has moved to the other end, and repeat until it dissolves.
