In Brooklyn, I had it in a pot, where it overwintered two years and then expired. This past summer I ordered it again and now have some in the ground in Yonkers. I won't mind if it spreads as its by the road. It has such a strong smell -- you need only bump into it. And the flowers are pretty. I found it when I was searching online for Mentha buddleiafolia after reading Ann Lovejoy's FRAGRANCE IN BLOOM. I never found the buddleia mint, but am happy to have discovered this one which is also ornamental.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18002590660153088126noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8603107829473043654.post-39256716627608383432011-01-20T12:29:35.771-05:002011-01-20T12:29:35.771-05:00I have a love/hate thing with wild mint over here....I have a love/hate thing with wild mint over here. It smells wonderful when I cut the grass, but it seeds itself everywhere. I bet the SA variety has a powerful scent under the strong sun.Rob (ourfrenchgarden)https://www.blogger.com/profile/05087218232138304239noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8603107829473043654.post-85321875554807425162011-01-20T11:53:28.996-05:002011-01-20T11:53:28.996-05:00Cheers, Marie :-)Cheers, Marie :-)Anyeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12728190795984417290noreply@blogger.com
