We're in High Season here in CO & while there aren't any passion fruit growing in the ground, our "native" homegrown Southern Colorado cantaloupes are ripely astonishingly tasty & sweet. Gluttonously (??) so. Glad the Frenchman "est arrive"& hope the folks are doing well.
Cheers,
Diane in faraway DenverAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8603107829473043654.post-41051426086470811652016-08-15T16:54:27.964-04:002016-08-15T16:54:27.964-04:00I have passion fruit ripening now.In fact, we'...I have passion fruit ripening now.In fact, we've eaten two already.I see smaller ones in the supermarket, but I don't buy them as I've no idea where they're from. But I can't grow broad beans up here.sniff..dinahmowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00052642938090553088noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8603107829473043654.post-69896883399755937272016-08-15T13:37:13.842-04:002016-08-15T13:37:13.842-04:00I think that is a new record!!!! Holy moly, and I ...I think that is a new record!!!! Holy moly, and I don't get it, either, because they grow so easily and could be cultivated in FL or CA...there are even native species. Maybe demand is very low, so no one grows them so...? No idea. I think you could buy almost 2lbs for that $2.99, locally.Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13632520557553405790noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8603107829473043654.post-48685928814563456802016-08-15T11:51:41.701-04:002016-08-15T11:51:41.701-04:00How wonderful! Also, supremely jealous of supermarkets with piles of passion fruit; at Whole Foods yesterday some rather sad-looking ones were $2.99 a piece!Nichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07291223943168030684noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8603107829473043654.post-87953561970453974822016-08-15T09:00:46.170-04:002016-08-15T09:00:46.170-04:00Vegetables are great, full of high nutrition.Vegetables are great, full of high nutrition.roughterrain cranehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12394547924137198019noreply@blogger.com
