  2. Would you have ever imagined it being like this--that first day you moved in to a cloud of hungry mosquitos? Of the three homes you have had since I began reading--I think this one suits you best.

    1. Thank you, Joanne -- space yes, yes, it's lovely. I retain a great affection for that first little one, though, and its endless sunlight and open horizons.

  3. Is that milkweed growing to the left of the lily buds in the photo? How do you keep it from running - they spread so fast and far?

    1. It is, yes. An experiment to see how it works and does not work. I would like to see it grown as a crop, rather than killed by herbicides. For spreading in home gardens I'd recommend root barriers, unless you have the space for a meadow garden.
