Please keep them coming. I live in Tokyo where the urban concrete sprawl overwhelms...but the little pocket parks that dot the city remind me to slow down and breathe... I think NYC is filled with public spaces. I remember reading that NYC gives tax breaks to companies that provide public space on their property. I think there is a guide book that lists such spaces because some are quite hidden and not publicized.Davidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06358782621832676354noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8603107829473043654.post-32842332742113219952011-04-14T18:57:55.061-04:002011-04-14T18:57:55.061-04:00What a magical walk you had! What a magical walk you had!Hilary Dow Wardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13443849864436892198noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8603107829473043654.post-37447319269190243142011-04-14T18:14:28.972-04:002011-04-14T18:14:28.972-04:00Always up for some flower pictures... no complaint...Always up for some flower pictures... no complaints here.Ghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02397398447336655195noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8603107829473043654.post-7903167418324136072011-04-14T17:18:29.039-04:002011-04-14T17:18:29.039-04:00I checked my pictures of Amelanchier flowers from ...I checked my pictures of Amelanchier flowers from last year and they were open on 4/21 on the CPW terrace. It's your basic Mediterranean color scheme, Brooklyn style. (And I just caught sight of Mrs. Cadwallader chattering in your left column! I have spent this winter -- at least the half-hour before I fall asleep -- in Middlemarch with Dorothea, Rosamond, Will and the gang.
