Making a pizza

Flour, warm water, yeast, kneading. Cover In A Warm Place. It rises, soft and supple. You press the dough out onto the pizza pan. You spread the sauce you cooked down, dot the mozzarella, scatter the sausage, bake it in a blazing oven, eat it, with sips of cold wine.

It cures nothing, delivers no one from evil, but eaten alone or with someone for company, it can help keep the boat afloat.

  2. Without approximate measures, our floating pizza boat could sink. I'm thinking of the dough hull in particular...

  5. your pizza looks delicious...isn't it amazing that warm water, yeast, flour salt, olive oil and a little kneading and an hour later you have this beautiful dough...your pizza looks like it would go nicely with a glass or two of red wine!

annie - your potato version looks gorgeous, too...Red wine was drunk. On the chilly side.
