The long wall on my terrace has been beige for a long time and very boring whenever photographed. The magenta side looks great as a background and the amber-orange looks good. So I had more pink mixed, but it is paler...Beige: bla.
Pink: pop.
So I'm testing patches.
The pansies were a sad green tuft through winter, and look at them now. No fertilizer other than a little of Espoma's chicken manure pellets...

So long as the chosen colour complements The Don, whose terrace it is, after all...
